Return & Refund Policy for Assam Tea

Thank you for shopping with us at Assam Tea! We take great pride in providing you with the finest quality Assam Tea, carefully packed to ensure freshness and flavor.

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Please read our detailed Return and Refund Policy below:


1. Eligibility for Returns

We only accept returns if:
✅ You received the wrong product (wrong tea type, wrong quantity, or wrong package).
✅ You received a damaged or defective product (packaging was damaged in transit, product inside is spoiled or compromised).
✅ You received a product that is expired or past its best-before date (although we ensure only fresh stock is shipped).

Please note:
Due to the perishable nature of tea, we do not accept returns if:
❌ You changed your mind after opening the pack.
❌ You didn’t like the taste or aroma (taste preferences vary person to person).
❌ You ordered the wrong product or quantity by mistake.


2. Time Frame to Request a Return

  • You must notify us within 7 days of receiving your order.
  • After 7 days, unfortunately, we cannot offer a refund or exchange.

3. How to Request a Return

Please follow these steps:

    • Your order number
    • Clear photos of the product (showing damage, defect, or issue)
    • Description of the issue
  2. Our customer service team will review your request within 2–3 business days.
  3. If approved, we will provide you with the return instructions or issue a replacement or refund.

4. Return Conditions

  • The product must be unopened, unused, and in its original packaging (for wrong product cases).
  • For damaged or defective products, please do not dispose of the item until we advise, as we may request you to send it back or provide additional evidence.

5. Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • If approved, your refund will be processed within 7–10 business days, and the amount will be credited back to your original payment method.
  • Please note: shipping costs are non-refundable, except in cases where the error was on our part.

6. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund yet:

  • Check your bank account or credit card statement.
  • Contact your bank or credit card company — it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

7. Exchanges (if applicable)

We replace items only if they are defective, damaged, or incorrect. If you need to exchange it for the same item, contact us at arnoldhazarika99@gmail.com.


8. Shipping for Returns

  • You will be responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning items, except where the return is due to our error (wrong or damaged product).
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance for returns — we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
